＜Prefectural public housing＞

There are five prefectural public housing apartment houses in western part of Shizuoka Prefecture.
They are in Toushin-cho (Iwata city), Aoki-cho(Fukuroi city), Horikoshi(Fukuroi city), Shimomata-minami(Kakegawa city), and Aobadai(Kikugawa town).
Tenant applications are accepted annually in July and December. Applications can be sent by mail. More information is provided at City Planning Section, Kakegawa City Office.

＜Municipal public housing (Kakegawa city)＞

Kakegawa city has municipal housing for 548 families in a 13 apartment complex.
You can not always apply for the housing.
When the application is accepted, it is announced in “Koohoo-Kakegawa”(Kakegawa city public relations magazine) and Kakegawa City Website.
Brochures on the housing application are distributed at City Planning Section, Kakegawa City Office.

How to call Ambulance

In case of fire, injury or illness, dial 119 and call the fire department or an ambulance.
You can dial 119 at any time, from anywhere in Japan, free of charge.

How to call
Just dial 119 and you can talk to the fire department.
Tell them clearly whether you need an ambulance or firefighters, also your name, address (or where the incident occurred), and phone number.
(Example)
• Fire Kaji desu. Basho wa (Where) desu. Watashi wa (your name) desu.
• Injury Kega o shimashita. Basho wa (Where) desu. Watashi wa (your name) desu.
