{"id":59,"date":"2009-01-19T16:56:14","date_gmt":"2009-01-19T07:56:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kakegawa-life.com\/guide\/?p=59"},"modified":"2022-03-16T14:17:27","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T05:17:27","slug":"child-allowance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kakegawa-life.com\/guide\/en\/04\/child-allowance\/","title":{"rendered":"Child Allowance (Jido Teate)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Children from 0 years old until the age of finishing junior high school (the first March 31 after becoming 15 years old) meet the requirements.<\/p>\n<p>When you get the right to receive child allowance due to childbirth or a move, you have to make an application for it.<\/p>\n<h3>(1) Amount of allowance:<\/h3>\n<p>The amount paid per month for each child:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Younger than 3 years \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a015,000 yen<\/li>\n<li>From 3 years old to 12 years old 10,000 yen (1<sup>st<\/sup> &amp; 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Child)<\/li>\n<li>From 3 years old to 12 years old 15,000 yen (3<sup>rd<\/sup> child &amp; more)<\/li>\n<li>From 12 years old to 15 years old \u00a010,000 yen<\/li>\n<li>More than the income limit 5,000 yen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>(2) Support period<\/h3>\n<p>In February, June, and October of each year, four months&#8217; worth of payments up to the previous month will be transferred to a bank account in the applicant&#8217;s name.<\/p>\n<h3>(3) Papers required for the application<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>\u00a0The applicant\u2019s own bankbook<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0The applicant\u2019s private seal<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0A photocopy of the applicant\u2019s health insurance card. (If the applicant is covered by the employee\u2019s pension plan)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Zairyu card of both the applicant and child.<\/li>\n<li>My Number Card of the applicant and his\/her spouse.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Additional papers may be required according to the situation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>(4) Present situation report (genky\u014d-todoke)<\/h3>\n<p>Recipients of child allowance are required to submit present situation reports (genky\u014d-todoke) every June.
