How to Recycle / Dispose of garbage
Garbage should be sorted out properly according to the rules given and taken out on the designated time and day to the designated garbage collection point.
Take out garbage by 8:30am on the collection day (by 8:00am in Daito and Osuka area)
Do not take it out on the day or night before.
Inquire at the Environment Policy Division (Kankyo Seisaku-ka), Kakegawa City Office (Ph:0537-21-1145) about how to sort out garbage, the schedule of garbage collection, and the location of garbage collection points.
The Environment Policy Division (Kankyo Seisaku-ka) also distributes the poster “The Correct Way to Place Garbage and Recyclables” which is available in 6 languages (including English) for free of charge.
